Severe threat fading; cooler week ahead

Although a severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect, based on radar trends it appears the severe threat is diminishing quickly for our area, and I would not be surprised to see the watch cancelled early. A few rumbles of thunder will still be possible overnight. After this front clears us, the rest of the week is looking mainly dry and cooler as well with highs only in the low to mid 60s and overnight lows in the low 40s.
