Weekend outlook: stormy Saturday?

We’ll be mostly dry again this afternoon with temperatures on the hot side (mid to upper 90s), but models are pointing to a pretty good chance for thunderstorms Saturday afternoon, some of which could turn severe. Low pressure forming off the coast of Virginia and North Carolina could keep us partly to mostly cloudy on Sunday with spotty showers.
