Cold returns in full force next week

Virginia will dodge a bullet this weekend with a strong storm system that will pass *just* to our east, throwing clouds our way for Sunday but no rain; areas along the coast will likely see very gusty winds and strong surf through Monday. Then another, weaker system passing to our north may deliver some light snow showers Monday evening into early Tuesday morning, but this should only amount to a dusting to an inch. Much of next week will also be quite chilly with highs only in the mid to upper 30s and overnight lows in the low 20s, maybe some teens as well.
