Active Watches or Warnings

Temperatures will continue to climb as high pressure becomes more entrenched, keeping sunny skies around through the rest of the week. Saturday looks decent as well, but as we head into Sunday and Monday (Memorial Day), things start looking iffy. Models show an area of low pressure getting organized off the coast of Georgia and South Carolina (not a tropical storm, just an area of showers) that then moves inland into North Carolina, then up into Virginia late Sunday into Monday evening. As of now, it looks like on and off showers (nothing particularly heavy) during that time frame. However, temperatures will remain warm, in the low 80s.
