Heat advisory for Thursday

The worst heat this week will arrive Thursday afternoon/early evening, with highs in the upper 90s and a heat index around 106. Consequently a heat advisory is in effect for the I-95 corridor and points east through 8pm Thursday. Friday will be a little better but still quite toasty, then temps fall back some as we head into the weekend. Shower chances will continue to be scarce.
