Just a quick note on the tropics, since you may have heard already about Tropical Storm Fiona, plus another system behind her that may turn into something.
Fiona will pose no threat to the U.S. as all the global models are in good agreement that she will stay out over open water. The second system is just starting to get organized, and is still a very long ways away from any land whatsoever, but models have this one strengthening fairly quickly and *possibly* posing a threat to Florida later in the forecast period. In the short-term, nothing to be worried about yet, but I’ll be keeping an “eye” on this system.
