Several mild spells will characterize much of February

Chilly temps stick around through Monday under mostly sunny skies, before we see another short taste of spring mid-week. Temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday will hit the mid to upper 60s, but come with a price tag: a chance for some scattered showers on both days. We’ll end the week under sunny skies again, but back to more typical winter temps (mid 40s).

Looking ahead, it looks likely that much of the Mid-Atlantic will enjoy several shots of mild weather this month, particularly around or after the 20th. That being said, we may have one more shot at some snow next week but it’s not a great chance, and after the middle of the month, our window for wintry weather starts to close rapidly.
