The storm that prompted a tornado warning for Emporia has been lifted, as the storm has weakened as it moved east.

Strong storms will continue to be possible across southern VA (along the NC line) but mostly just rain for the Richmond area. Rain could be heavy at times through tomorrow and into early next week.
