The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
   Central Cumberland County in central Virginia...
   Amelia County in central Virginia...
   Southern Powhatan County in central Virginia...

* Until 815 PM EDT

* At 737 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Tobaccoville,
   or 7 miles east of Cumberland, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
            damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
            wind damage to trees and powerlines.

* This severe thunderstorm will be near,
   Morven and Macon around 750 PM EDT.
   Amelia Courthouse around 810 PM EDT.
   Chula around 815 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Angola,
Oak Forest, Pilkinton, Winterham, Hawk, Maplewood, Grays Siding,
Deatonville, Holly Hills and Lodore.
