Judging from radar and reports people have been sending me, snow is picking up in intensity now and will continue to do so overnight, when the bulk of our accumulations will occur. This snow will be the fluffy, dry type so power outages are not so much of a concern around here. As you can see from the storm reports I’ve posted so far, roads are a mess and apart from plowing and sanding, won’t get much better the next few days since temperatures will not get above freezing the rest of this week.
The snowfall will wrap up early tomorrow morning. The rest of this week looks tranquil weather-wise but more opportunities for snow are lurking, with a favorable pattern dominating for the next week or two.
