Wednesday night/Thursday snow potential

The forecast for Wednesday evening/Thursday is a low-confidence one at the moment, given that the NAM is alone in showing snow over our area with a system passing to our south. It's been consistently forecasting about 1-3" from Richmond and points south, with higher totals towards Hampton Roads. The timing, thankfully, would be such that this will be an overnight event, but that also means accumulations are possible since temperatures will be below freezing. What gives me pause at the moment is that the NAM model tends to over-do it on precip (and thus, snow totals during the winter).
I'll have another update tomorrow afternoon; by then, I'll be able to make use of 2 more short range models.
