We’ll continue to see widely scattered afternoon/evening storms over the next several days, some of which could become severe with torrential rain and gusty winds/lightning thanks to the high heat and humidity.
Currently radar shows a potent line of storms that has prompted a warning for parts of Dinwiddie, Nottoway, Brunswick, and Lunenberg until 7pm. Downed trees have been reported with this storm.
