Monitoring potential for strong storms tonight
The Storm Prediction Center is keeping an eye on a fast moving system diving down out of the upper midwest that brought damaging winds, hail, and even some tornadoes to those areas. This system is currently moving through West Virginia and will be pushing through Virginia tonight into the early morning hours. Conditions are favorable over our area for some of these storms to still be on the strong side when they arrive. Any storms will be out of here easily before sunrise tomorrow and storm chances will be quite low for the rest of the week into the weekend, with slightly cooler temperatures.
