Storm chances diminish, heat building next week?

Thunderstorm chances will be slim to none over the next several days into the weekend, with temperatures hanging out around normal for this time of year (upper 80s to low 90s). There are some signs of a minor heat wave headed our way next week, nothing too crazy but enough that normal precautions (hydration, rest from work, etc.) should be taken during mid-day and afternoon.
