Tropical Storm Erika continues to slowly strengthen and become better organized. Erika will be approaching the Antilles and Puerto Rico in another day or two. There is still a good deal of uncertainty on the storm track later in the forecast period, beyond the next several days, but it should be noted that the latest NHC forecast brings southern Florida into the frame as a potential target down the road.
Meanwhile, closer to home, we’ll continue to be hard pressed for rain in the next 5-6 days as high pressure remains firmly in control.
