Scattered storm chances linger into the end of the week

Scattered afternoon/evening storm chances will stick with us for the next few days (about a 30% chance) before drier air arrives early next week. The tropics remain quiet, as Fred is fading out under unfavorable conditions and will stay far out in the Atlantic.

Labor Day is still looking good, with highs only in the mid 80s under mostly sunny skies.
