Low pressure off the coast of the Carolinas will continue to be held in place by a strong ridge of high pressure over New England, and this will result in continued cloudiness with cool temperatures and periods of scattered showers over the next few days into the first half of the weekend. After that, a slight warming trend appears to be on the way with sun returning.
