Stuck on repeat: cool and cloudy continues

Expect periods of cloudiness and scattered showers to continue through much of this week; as I posted earlier, high pressure to our north is holding a tropical low off the coast of North Carolina in place, and that’s been the source of our dreary weather. It will continue to spin in place, and another system will head our way mid-week with more clouds and rain. Temperatures will be heading down a bit, to the coolest we’ve been since spring: mid 60s by Thursday.
