As I suspected, the idea of anything more than some light snow showers on Sunday afternoon/evening was a fluke. Since yesterday, the GFS has backed off from that scenario, and towards the other models that showed little to nothing. For now, at the most I’d expect some light snow showers for a period of a few hours, with surface temps being a bit too marginal for anything to accumulate beyond the grass and elevated surfaces. That same storm system will bring in a reinforcing shot of cold air for early next week.
