Snow is mixing with and transitioning over to sleet now in the Richmond area; Petersburg and points south and east have already been seeing sleet for a while and freezing rain is knocking on the door down that way. We should be almost entirely sleet fairly soon (before 12 for sure), then freezing rain by mid-afternoon. The changeover to all rain is still on tap for this evening.
I ventured out a little while ago and highways seem to be ok for the most part but secondary roads and parking lots are a mess.
