As I suspected might happen, the threat for another winter storm next week is waning. Each update from the models becomes warmer and less favorable with the storm track. As it stands now, we’ll see just rain. Areas along the Valley and into West Virginia may see some snow, but there will be no real cold air in place in our neck of the woods. In fact I don’t see any major cold outbreak in the next two weeks, just normal winter temps with a few mild days here and there.
