Mostly dry & comfortable into next week
The smooth sailing continues in the seven day forecast. No sign of temperatures getting above the mid 80s, and just a slight chance for a few showers late Sunday night/early Monday morning, but otherwise high pressure will continue to keep us dry for the near future. Looking further down the road, as climate models have hinted at, the rest of the month should continue to run on the warm and dry side. The Climate Prediction Center now has parts of central and western Virginia categorized as “abnormally dry” and are forecasting drought to begin developing, particularly west of 95.
