Cloudy, cool to end the week; RVA escapes the wrath of Matthew

Corresponding to a major shift in the forecast track of Matthew, next Saturday isn’t looking too shabby for much of Virginia. With Matthew expected to move out to sea after passing southeast of Wilmington, North Carolina, the Richmond area should see cloudy skies and cool temperatures with a few showers possible associated with a cold front pushing into the area. In the meantime, clouds will likely linger into the end of the week, with a few scattered showers possible Friday.
