Quick note about the tropics: I created a separate page for updates on Hurricane Matthew (and other storms in the tropics) on the Tropical Threats page in the menu above. This space will remain dedicated to local severe weather alerts and the overall forecast.
Speaking of the forecast, I’m upping our chances for rain (and gusty winds) next Saturday into early Sunday morning due to the increasing likelihood that we’ll get a piece of Hurricane Matthew.
